If you're new to my wee shop, you may not know that I am a wren. So, you can imagine my struggle with bravery. I am but a wee bird. Nevertheless, I am learning to be brave, which takes trust in our beautiful and strong Creator, the King of the Universe. I am learning to trust in his purpose and plan for me. I am learning to trust that He loves me so very much. I am learning to trust even when I am anxious and unsure about the future.
I find George MacDonald's words so comforting, especially about trying to be brave. I never really thought of it that way before, but I believe he is right—trying to be brave really IS being brave, friend!
So, be encouraged! You are brave. Believe the One who made you so.
