Well, my favorite time of the year has arrived and with that the love of warm and cozy things, like fleecy sweatshirts! I just love the word “cozy” don’t you?
You may already know that I am but a wee wren! My best human friend, Eleanor, and I have designed this wee website to share thoughts, art, and stories about me and my friends! *Ddraig the Dragon was pleased to sit for a watercolor painting, and this is the result! You may be thinking, “Nora, I thought dragons were moslty evil and dangerous.” You’d be right to ask such a question. Many, if not most, have worked quite hard to earn such a reputation. Fortunately, Ddraig is not one of them. Indeed, he is also known as Ddraig the Good!
For now, just know that Ddraig was happy to participate in our project because he believes in redemption. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Peter 3:9, which states, “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
So, never give up on other humans, who can also be rather dragonish in the worst ways. We are instructed to keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking closer to the Savior and King, whom you call Jesus and Yeshua. He wishes to bring all to Himself.

When I painted Ddraig, I was inspired by the dragon paintings and sketches by J.R.R. Tolkien, one of which you can find on the cover of his translation of Beowulf.
*Ddraid is pronounced a bit like “thryg,” with a rolled r.
P.S. Eleanor usually wears a MEDIUM shirt; however, this sweatshirt runs a wee bit small and she likes her sweatshirts to be a little oversized, so she ordered a LARGE, and she loves it.
