You may be here because chilly winter weather is right around the corner, and candles are usually the order of the day…and especially evening!
If you don’t already know, my name is Nora Lamar, and I am a wee wren! My best human friend, Eleanor, agreed to create a website together! If you would like to read more about that, please see the “About” page, or simply feel free to browse!
Back to the candle! Eleanor and I designed some candles with tartans belonging to the families of me and some of my friends. We also decided to design a couple of more tartans because it was fun. The blue tartan is just that. We call it the Winter Tartan because the colors remind us of snow flakes, ice-skating rinks, and blue winter landscapes. Blue is a very wintry color in my opinion. It’s soft hues can be cleansing to your visual palette, as it were—comforting and serene, like a picture by Currier & Ives. I think of one called “Winter in the Country” as I type.
In any case, I like to ramble on so! We wrens are like that sometimes, as you may know if you’ve spent much time around us!
So, put a kettle on, as I like to say, and get your candles ready for the cozy season!
