Beornulf is another friend of my grandfather's whom he met through his travels with Tilian. As you may surmise, Beornulf is a warrior. (His name means warrior or battle-wolf in Old English). His favorite Bible verse is from Ephesians 6:17! He is a skilled swordsman, so he understands the power of the language St. Paul uses to describe the holy words that bring forth our very existence and make us whole.
You may already know this, but Beornulf the Badger and Tilian the Chipmunk were introduced to coffee and tea by my grandfather. They were used to a little *small ale with their meals prior to trying these warming beverages, so imagine their delight!
Beornulf, in spite of his rough exterior and grumpy nature, prefers his coffee with sugar and whipped cream, sprinkled with cocoa, and garnished with a cinnamon stick. Serve it with a nice pastry, and you'll see a very happy badger! The world is full of such miracles. Never stop believing, my friend. ;-)
